Our mission
Catch the Fire Youth and Family Life Ministries Inc. is a support system for the whole family. We don't just do ministry, we do it with flavor. Jesus said "Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt has lost his savor(flavor), wherewith shall it be salted?" That salt is the ability to influence the people around you and help them see their need for our Holy God. Catch the fire is the heart and passion of Phillip Edwards and others who share that passion to help the families of today find purpose, meaning, and dignity in union with Jesus Christ. Phillip has developed a comprehensive program basic on the word of God that places self-worth back into a generation of people going astray. Edwards says " We teach the people how to get back on track when they are misdirected, and how to find their purpose in life and fulfill it in union with Jesus Christ.

What we Believe
1. We believe that the scriptures of the old and new testaments are verbally inspired by God, are inerrant in the original writings, are the Word of God, and the final authority in faith and conduct.
2. We believe in one God, the Creator of man and all things, eternally existing in three persons in a threefold relationship, that of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
3. We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and is God incarnate, the God-Man.
4.We believe that man was created in the image of God; that he sinned and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spirtual death, which is separation from God; that Adam's sin is imputed to the whole race of mankind; that all human beings are born with a sinful nature; and that when they reach the state of moral responsibility become sinners before God in though, word, and deed.
5. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures as a substitutionary sacrifice, and that all who believe on Him are freely justified before God and stand before Him accepted in the character and merit of Jesus Christ and are saved from God's wrath to come.
6. We believe the church is an institution established by Jesus Christ brought by his blood and made up of born again believers of all races, creds and colors and has a commission to go into the world to disciple, baptize, and to teach everyone everywhere about Him
7.We believe the family is an institution established by God; We believe that a family is made up of a father and mother joined in marriage before God and the state; their children and any others related by legal adoption, blood or marriage
8.We believe children are the gift of God to their parents, therefore, we believe that children are the primary responsibility of their parents and therefore the rights of the parents to raise their children according to Godly principles should not be infringed upon
Ministry (service) Objectives
- Children/Youth: The goal is to put together a comprehensive program that will minister to youth age 5 thru 18 prepare young people to sound ethical and moral choices over a lifetime by instilling in them the values of God's Word. We will also teach money management, physical fitness, mental health with the help of parents
- Family Ministry: The goal here is to help families of all kind to work and to produce life skills to handle the problems that will arise, we will focus of the important role of God and His Word as a foundation upon which to bulid a stroung family unite
- Ameerican of Fire: The goal of this ministry would be to strengehen the United States of American as a nation under God by teaching youth and adults our christian heritage as americans ; teachingand explaining how our political system works, encourage people to vote, write to congress aa they feel a need. And how to apply their faith to their llives and how to have a Christian world view
- World Missions:The goal here is to help families all over the world through support of ministries in other parts of the world.
- Catch The Fire high: We would like to start a charter or private school for youth grades 7 -12 The mission of the school would be to not only to prepare youth academically but also moral
